Tourism in the commune of Bushat is not yet developed. But we have since this year the first camping in Albania. For information you can look at http://www.camping-albania.eu In view of the vision and possibilities of the Commune of Bushat certain points can be used for tourism, even if only for leisure and one day excursions. The Forest in the Mountain of Zefjana can be turned into a natural park with clean air and well developed services chains. In addition, along the Drin River, the botanic park and a strolling avenue can be made into attractive spots for people who like flora and fauna. The botanical park, in additional to the tourist values, may become the nature’s laboratory for school children, offering them the possibility to see in real life the most representative plants and animals of the area. The big sports stadium will also attract sports lovers. A hippodrome would be a valuable investment to the revival of horse sports, which was among the types of sports mostly practiced by Albanians in the past. The Church of Shen Shtjefni (in Barbullush) as one of the most ancient churches in Albania and the presence of a cave in Bushat where important archaeological objects have been found may pave the way towards cultural tourism in the area.
